My roles as wife, mom, jewelry lover, and head designer often take top billing — but I never lose sight of another one of my titles: business owner. As the woman who owns Be On Park and has a hand in several other Winter Park-based businesses (hiiii Clementine, The Grove, and Z Properties), it’s important to me to shout out other female business owners on the reg.
The brands and designers who create the pieces we carry here at Be have fantastic stories — and some of the ones I most like to tell are those of other women-owned businesses. Here, I’m highlighting a few of the women-owned brands I love to carry in-store and online, to support, and to wear myself.
Sethi Couture
The sister duo behind Sethi Couture grew up in California and made frequent trips to visit their grandmothers in India — resulting in designs that showcase the pair’s perfect blend of California-cool style and detail-oriented, architecture-influenced artistry. Citing their heritage and frequent travels as inspiration for their colorful pieces, the sisters have created some of my absolute favorite items. Come for the super-stackable bangles and rings, and stay for the understated luxury.

It’s no secret that Lauren Kessler of Lauren K Fine Jewelry has a special place in my heart — not only do I LOVE her one-of-a-kind creations, but she also worked with me to create Be’s very own bespoke line of rings. Lauren’s collections are made up of super special pieces featuring hand-selected stones. The results are colorful, creative, and distinctive. It’s a “yes” from me, every. single. time.
Stephanie Albertson
I’d be remiss not to mention a fellow Winter Park woman, the amazing Stephanie Albertson. Not only is Stephanie highly knowledgeable in the jewelry game (she studied it in school and now literally makes the pieces in her NYC shop herself), but she’s also one of the most consistent and trustworthy names in the business. It’s always a joy to pop into her store when I’m up in the City, and it’s an equal pleasure to carry her unique pieces in our space as well.
