If you know me, you know I’m not usually one for cooking… but that doesn’t mean I don’t love to go all out with entertaining friends and loved ones. In my home, the table is set to accommodate ample helpings of my favorite takeout, with plenty of space left over for cocktails and/or bottles of wine. This holiday season, my mantra is simple: Less work, more sequins — and that goes for dressing up my table and myself.
As anyone who’s worked in retail knows, the holiday season is our time to shine. Few times in the year are as busy for the Be team as the holidays are, so there’s simply no need to complicate our lives with stress or added obligations. If you’re in a similar boat, have no fear — here, I’m sharing a few ways I add a little sparkle to the holiday season, without adding extra stress to the mix as well.

First... What to Wear
Jewelry may be the last thing I add to an outfit, but it’s one of the first things I think about in the morning. Bangles and baubles add so much fun to the everyday, and the holiday season is the perfect time to say “more is more.”
I recently purchased two pairs of colorful sequin pants to mix and match with — and while some might say the pants make enough of a statement, I say they’re just the perfect base layer. When choosing pieces for your holiday looks, whether in terms of clothing, accessories, or jewels, don’t be afraid to go bigger, brighter, and bolder.

And of Course... How to Host
Like I said, you won’t find me cooking a multi-course meal this holiday season (or ever), but you will find me and my sequins setting the stage for the caterers to do their thing (Winter Park friends, I’m partial to the experts at Cuisiniers!). If I could share one piece of advice for all your holiday hosting endeavors, it would be to grab some of these super-chic-but-practical Bella cutlery sets. They’re disposable (but also reusable!) and come in fun colors and chic-looking designs fit for holiday place settings. They’ll dress up any meal!
These gold tumblers make the perfect complement to your table AND your outfit.
If you want to go even fancier, I love adding colorful chargers to classic plates or china. This allows you to play with color and seasonal touches without committing to new dishware. These chargers from Herend are available in a variety of colorways (including pink — which, for the record, is a holiday color in my book).
Finally, no gathering large or small is complete without fun cocktail napkins (I actually collect them). They’re the perfect way to show some personality and make a statement — literally.
