Hello people!
The new color of the season is... drumroll please... NAVY BROWN.
Now, what exactly is navy brown? Well, it's a color I accidentally invented while trying to remember these shoes to pair with our spectacular new iridescent FRAME jeans. The shoes are brown. Just brown. But somewhere between my brain and my mouth, navy brown came out, and I rather liked the sound of it.
Then, wouldn't you know it, an email from Stuart Weitzman landed in my inbox declaring Midnight Espresso the color of the season. Well, if Stuart Weitzman can call brown Midnight Espresso, I can certainly call it Navy Brown.
So naturally, I've decided to make navy brown a thing. Starting with this fabulous new Le Superbe skirt and top. Rich chocolate brown, bronze florals, a little shimmer. Not a stitch of navy in sight, but that's beside the point.
Now, onto the jewels. I've got my big giant diamond studs on (instant facelift!), but depending on your mood, you could keep it classic with the studs, channel Margot Robbie with this fabulous Kwiat cuff, or go full WOWZA with these ONDYN diamond hoops. Personally, I think more is more.
And while we're talking about things I'm currently obsessed with, I'm still going strong with my Impadia Eau de Parfum, but Heather gifted me this Manucurist Nail Polish Duo, and it's my latest discovery. So fun, natural, and easy.
Speaking of nail polish, did you know you can't paint your nails on an airplane? News to me! I decided my flight home from Colorado was the perfect time for a little in-flight manicure, until a very sweet flight attendant informed me otherwise. In hindsight, I suppose it makes sense, but I can think of far worse smells I've encountered on an airplane.
And in other exciting news, our store renovations are wrapping up. We are so excited to show you our brand-new apparel boutique and dressing rooms. We just finished hanging Backdrop's Painted Sky wallpaper, and it is an absolute DREAM. Getting dressed should be fun, and I think these new dressing rooms might make it a little too fun. Can't wait for you to see.
